Martine, a former Birchgrove WI member is running a beginner-friendly Sashiko visible mending workshop at Chapter Arts Centre, Cardiff on Friday 5 September. The workshop introduces the beautiful Japanese art of decorative repair using reclaimed textiles, encouraging people to mend rather than replace clothes and textiles they already own.
