Meet Sarah Adedeji, artist and performer of Pray For Me — a one-woman show commissioned by Fuse Theatre. ✨

Featuring live music by Israel, alongside BSL, spoken word, sign song, movement, dance and voiceover.

Sarah and the team are excited to bring this work-in-progress to Deaf Gathering Cymru this November! 💛

🎭 Anna Seymour and Mirabelle Haddon: AfterGlow – A powerful immersive performance exploring Deaf identity, shame, grief and catharsis through movement and dance.

📚 The Librarians – A fun, interactive family show where books come to life! Performed in BSL & English, with a chance for children to create their own stories on stage.

🙏 Fuse Theatre: Pray For Me – A raw and visually striking solo performance by Sarah Adedeji, exploring faith, culture, identity and the experience of being a Black Deaf woman.

Deaf Gathering Cymru offers a whole weekend of making. Alongside sandimation, zine-making and dance, you can get hands-on with VJing and visual music, led by Matthew, also known as VJ Spaceboy 🎛️

Matthew is profoundly Deaf. He’s a VJ and a creative technologist, and he builds technology that makes things more accessible. He mixes live visuals with special controllers, so Deaf and disabled people can make visual music in their own way.

At Deaf Gathering Cymru, Matthew is running a hands-on workshop on VJing and visual music. You’ll use video clips, colour, effects and controllers to make visuals that move with the music. You don’t need any experience.
