The half marathon wasn’t the only exhilarating competition taking place in Cardiff this weekend! A huge congratulations to the winners of the Welsh Seniors (65+) championships: FM Peter Varley, who retained his title, CM Lee Davis and Mark Thomas (not pictured). They came equal first with a score of 3.5/5.
Also a huge congratulations to both FM Tim Kett and Adam May for winning the 50+ Section.
And another huge congratulations to Chen Wutong for winning the Open Section.
Three days of exciting chess across the three sections. Da iawn to all who played. Link to the final standings in the comments.
