Why does book choice matter in primary school? 📚

Our research shows that children's enjoyment of reading declines as they move through primary school.

⭐ But allowing children to choose what they read, and helping them to make that choice, makes them more motivated to read - especially when they feel their preferences are respected.

And that encourages them to read more regularly... which helps them to build a reading habit... which means they can experience all the immediate and lifelong benefits of reading!
