VAC and CAVIS held the first annual summertime homeless memorial service. We were joined by the choir with no name who sang a collection of songs, read a poem and gave thoughts of remembrance. VAC peers celebrated and remembered friends and loved ones who have sadly passed away while experiencing homelessness.

Everyone was invited to light a candle and write a note of remembrance for their loved ones ❤️

Sandi spoke the following poignant words;
"These are just a few of the memories shared with us, but today, we remember everyone whose life mattered, whose absence is felt and whose memory lives on"

Thank you to everyone who attended and our thoughts are with all of those we have lost, you are loved and remembered ❤️

Alcohol overdose can happen to anyone, anywhere. Recognising the signs early could save a life ❤

⚠️ Watch for:
Confusion or inability to stay awake
Vomiting
Slow or irregular breathing

Alcohol overdose is a medical emergency. Call 999 immediately in the event of an alcohol overdose.
