ICYMI: In the UK, the last known refuge of this tiny snail is in Llyn Tegid - in Eryri National Park
Conservationist Ian Hughes has made it his mission to protect the threatened mollusc. Several British zoos are setting up so-called ark populations of, using creatures bred in Ian's back garden in Ceredigion.

Our presenter caught up with Nick from the boatyard, hearing how oysters are helping to monitor the pollution levels in the river Cleddau.

Rising ocean temperatures are already undoing efforts to restore marine life here in Wales. We spoke to ITV News about how a marine heatwave undermined the success of recent seagrass restoration efforts at a site in north Wales. *Head to the comments for the link.
This research shows that the impacts of rising temperatures don't stop on land. Nature is our ally, and the lesson from this study is we need to restore nature smarter.

By understanding which sites are most resilient to marine heatwaves and using the latest science to guide restoration efforts, we can give seagrass meadows the best possible chance to recover and support thriving marine wildlife.
It's why working with the communities in these areas is so important. The story also highlights the brilliant volunteers who support the annual seagrass seed collection with Seagrass Ocean Rescue partners. Pen Llŷn a'r Sarnau
