Hi today Is a very special post for all of us at Cardiff North Dementia. We are celebrating our volunteer Justin, we have known for over 10 years. We all met through our work with the Alzheimer's society.
Justin was a volunteer then and he joined us here at Cardiff North.
Justin is a dedicated member of our team. It has been a great pleasure for us to watch him grow in confidence over the years.
He truly cares about our service users and his kindness is clear to see.
A declaration to this is his visits to two of our previous service users on a regular basis.
Both men Justin struck up a friendship with and he visits then in there new home in his own time.
We all at Cardiff North want to thank Justin for being a valued member of our team.💛💛

Happy Easter everyone had a great couple of days with everyone at Cardiff North Dementia Service.
We want to thank Claire from tescos she has supported us for the last 4 years as a community champion for tescos.
We were given an Easter egg for everyone and we truly appreciate the support tescos has given us but especially Claire for always keeping in touch and wanting to help in anyway she can.
Claire works tirelessly to help all community groups and works very hard to accommodate as many organisations she can 🥰

Lovely couple of days at Cardiff North Dementia Service. Easter celebrations well underway with decorating our Easter bonnets. Lots of laughter and chatting and creativity not forgetting tea and biscuits.
A big thankyou thankyou to Owain, Joshua and Bryce from Lew's cafe the hub.
These guys have been delivering amazing food week after week and our guests are never short of compliments.
We appreciate all your hard work and the care you put into all our guests dietary requests 💛💛 Lew's Coffee Shop

Lovely couple of days great craft session with stencils 🎨 Floor games and bingo with prizes.
A great talk from our lovely June reminiscing about her times as a champion cyclist in France 🚴‍♀️
Lots of discussions around everyone's favourite time of year, as we get ready for
Easter 🐣
A big thankyou to Natasha for bringing us in some lovely cakes.
