Job description
The front of shop administrator will work with the manager and deputy manager in running this lively and challenging social enterprise. Fair Do's/ Siopa Teg CIC is Cardiff's leading dedicated fair trade shop, established in 1998. As well as selling a wide range of fair trade products, we aim to raise awareness of fair trade in South Wales.

Main Tasks:
Supervising volunteers
Maintaining good communication with colleagues
Ensuring all your week's tasks have been completed
Customer service including face to face sales to individual customers, as well as representatives from schools and churches
Keeping the shop floor tidy and welcoming
Some administrative work
Essential Personal Qualities:
Passionate about fair trade
Friendly personality, welcoming to customers
Clear and enthusiastic communicator about fair trade
Methodical approach to administrative tasks
Computer literate
Good level of literacy and numeracy
Desired Qualities:
Experience in display work or visual merchandising
Retail experience
Ability to speak Welsh
Other Details:
There will be a probationary period, training will be given.
We are looking for someone to cover 2 days a week. Saturday availability is essential. Your shifts will cover our usual opening hours which are 10am - 4.45pm. To start as soon as possible.
Part-time hours: 7.5-15 per week

Customers and staff are required to wear a mask unless exempt. Daily cleaning, hand santiser available to staff and customers. Limited numbers allowed in the shop at a time. Screens around till area.
