🌈 Happy Pride! 🌈

This Pride season, we're celebrating the diversity, individuality and strength that make our communities so special.

At ScoutsCymru, we believe every young person deserves to feel welcome, valued and able to be themselves. Scouting is a place where people can belong, make friends, learn new skills and grow in confidence, regardless of their background or identity.

If you're heading to Pride Cymru this weekend, keep an eye out for our volunteers from Cardiff and Vale Scouts, who are once again there representing ScoutsCymru and Scouts across Wales. If you spot them in the parade or around the event, give them a wave and stop by to say hello!

To everyone celebrating at Pride events across Wales and beyond, we wish you a fantastic Pride season filled with joy, community and celebration.

Looking for something to do next month?

The annual Tir a Môr Scout District fete takes place on Saturday 4th July at Romilly park, Barry.

Programmes are now on sale from Scout and Guide groups in the Vale, or you can purchase at the gate on the day.

Save the date: Saturday 4th July.

Fete programme have been printed and will shortly be on sale from your local Scout and Guide groups.

Crate Stacking Instructor Training Opportunity.

Would you like to learn a new skill and become part of the Jubilee Activities Team?
Here at Jubilee Scout Campsite, we are introducing Crate Stacking as a new bookable activity. Before we can open the activity for bookings, we need to train a number of leaders to deliver it safely and confidently.

There’s been lots of social media about Roo (Rupert, a Beaver at 1st Barry) and others having tea with the Queen. This clip (and the one of him making a toast) have put a smile on my face (and a few tears in my eyes). Roo is such an inspiration.
