🛍️ We’re Hiring – Shop Manager

Carbost Community Shop is looking for a friendly, organised and motivated Shop Manager to lead the day-to-day running of our busy community store.

Hours: Approx. 30 hours per week (over 5 days, including weekends as required)

Key responsibilities include:

Managing daily shop operations
Ordering stock and working with suppliers
Overseeing pricing and product range
Staff rotas and team management
Handling customer enquiries and issues
Managing invoices and admin tasks
Running our social media presence

What we’re looking for:

Previous retail and/or management experience (essential)
Strong organisational and people skills
A proactive, community-focused approach

What we offer:

28 days annual leave (including bank holidays)
A rewarding role at the heart of the community
