After 33yrs the decision has been made to close Rock-Ola Rock’n’Roll Club for good.
Back in 1992 we first opened our doors and not once did we ever look back, over them years we have had the pleasure of making, meeting new friends, dance partners, the bands that have travelled and performed from all over, including a special club night and appearance of Bill Haleys original Comets!!
We’d like to thank everyone that had been on the committee for the club, not always an easy task but everyone always had the clubs interest at heart.
ALL of our the wonderful djs, of which there really are far too many to mention. We thank you for keeping the floor full and the raffles going, The carnivals we entered and won 🏆 - yay!! 🙌 - Thank you to everyone that has given their time to support and help over the years to keep it going. So many wonderful people that have given up their time to make the club a success over the years.
It may not come as much as a surprise but with Covid-19, having to move venue while The Paddocks was being refurbished and then moving back, it just wasn’t the same as it once was.
Lastly, we sincerely apologise to the bands we’ve had to cancel for next year.
We’d like to thank every single person that has ever supported the club, for making it what it was.
