Here at Canterbury Christ Church University, we make sure that all of our visiting students get the most out of their visit with us.

We took a group of 46 General English students on the Canterbury Historic River Tours. They had the chance to get to see Canterbury in a different light; under low bridges they travelled through time to look at different parts of Canterbury in different times in history, From the first school ever built in the world in 597 a.d to the Marlowe Theatre refurbished in 2012.

It was so great to see the Madrid Teachers out for their final Social Programme event before they head back to Spain.

This event was the Beer Garden Tour, where we took the teachers on a tour of a few traditional pubs in Canterbury with amazing Beer Gardens. The night was very relaxed as we got a few drinks and we spoke about their time here. This was a great end to their time here, and an nice end to a long day of studies.

It was so great to see everyone who came to the Welcome Party last night at the Students Union. It was really nice to see everyone get involved and talking and meeting new people. Well done especially for the statues for the Mummy Challenge.

Tomorrow we are going to Whitstable! Whitstable is a historic seaside town that is well known for its fresh oysters.

There is lots to do in Whitstable including shopping, visiting the harbor and trying traditional local food.

If you want to come to Whitstable we will be meeting at 1.30pm outside the language school tomorrow (Friday)
