Sentinel 8850 The Lion

One of the highlights of last summer was following the Sentinel 8850 The Lion team as they toured the Westcountry. The wagon went new to the Devon Trading Company in Bideford and the waggon returned to the town for the North Devon Festival of transport in August, as well as a couple of other events. Here we see the waggon crossing Bideford bridge, something it would have done many times in its working life.

One of the highlights of last summer was following the Sentinel 8850 The Lion team as they toured the Westcountry. The wagon went new to the Devon Trading Company in Bideford and finished working in Teignmouth, so the opportunity was taken to tour the area for a few months. We caught them on the road heading from Langport to the Boconnoc Steam Fair in July and they are seen here after a water stop near Wellington.
