PAID ROLE: Are you a fan of numbers and have a few spare hours each week? Do you want to be a bit more involved in your local community? ✅

Barham Village Hall is looking for a new Treasurer & Payments Administrator to join its Management Committee.

This important role involves:

• Keeping financial records up to date
• Issuing invoices to hirers in a timely manner
• Processing payments and invoices when received
• Reporting finances at monthly meetings
• Reconciling the accounts each month (we use Xero)
• Ordering cleaning stock as required
• Processing the end of year figures for our Accountant
• Working closely with the Bookings Administrator

Trustee meetings are held every other month, usually on a Monday evening and last about an hour and a half. This is a paid role and requires approx 3 hours each week. The rate is £200 pcm and you will be self employed.

We need you to be friendly, organised and happy to work with numbers, you don’t need to be a trained accountant!

Full support and training on our systems will be provided.

We have booked a doorstep collection to have a little clear out at the hall. If you’d like to donate your unwanted items to support Action for Children please bring them to the hall at anytime on Tuesday 16th June (they can be left under the awning if the building is closed). Items taken include bric-a-brac, clothes/shoes/textiles, and books. 🙏💙
