Books2Africa UKC "Putting a book in the hands of every African child" We need YOU to help us think of creative fundraising ideas!

We are a Student Led Volunteering Society at the University of Kent Canterbury who supports the charity Books to Africa. This year our priority is to build a strong volunteer base as well as fundraising £500 which allows to us to purchase a new book collection bin and ship off 5,000 books to a country of our choosing in Africa. Any idea is welcome and this gives you a great chance to develop crucial employability skills for the increasingly competitive job market. Any time spent volunteering with us can go towards the KSCV award, which is an award that recognises all the volunteering you do, and we will also teach you how to apply for this.
