๐Ÿ“ฒ If you have a Smartphone and are travelling for work or pleasure, why not take part? You can do so following these easy steps:
1๏ธโƒฃ Download the app which is available free in both IOS and Android;
2๏ธโƒฃ Create an account to sign up;
3๏ธโƒฃ Start surveying on any journey you make in a vehicle between 1 April to 30 September.

Tomorrow is WORLD BEE DAY, 20 MAY - what are you doing to help our bees?
It can be a simple thing like buying plants that are great for pollinators (see RHS Plants for Pollinators lists) or providing a shallow dish of water with mossy rocks in it so they can drink in hot weather, as seen here.

This is for you if you love pollinators ๐Ÿ

Wildlife film-maker Martin Dohrn is bee obsessed. He has found over 60 species in his Bristol garden and sets out to film them, with mind-blowing results.

Did you know that only 2% of British butterflies and moths spend the winter in their adult form?

The majority survive as eggs, caterpillars or chrysalises throughout the colder months. Some take shelter inside the stems or seedheads of dead plants, while others may be attached to the stems or rolled up in leaves. ๐Ÿ›

One of the easiest things you can do to help them is to let your plants die off naturally in the autumn and leave them where they are until the following spring. ๐Ÿฅ€

When you do finally cut them back, leave the stems and flowerheads in a quiet spot to give any overwintering creatures the best chance of survival.
