The Quiet View

The Quiet View A donations-funded Quiet Garden that welcomes individuals and groups seeking spiritual refreshment

A Centre for Contemplative Spirituality, the Quiet View is rooted in Christianity but welcomes people of all faiths or none. In an area of outstanding natural beauty, the garden is approximately 2 acres in east Kent, surrounded by rolling countryside. It has been designed to provide secluded quiet ‘rooms’ for stillness and reflection and people in need of spiritual refreshment are invited to book

a retreat individually or as a group. There is a variety of indoor spaces too, including a large yurt that boasts a log-burning stove that provides warmth and cosiness on cold or wet days. Book a space to follow your own programme or join in our Programme of Events.

On our labyrinth walk with red roses in the Love of the Divine Feminine on Saturday, one lady took a rose home for each of her daughters who then came to walk the labyrinth on Sunday 🤩and today this is where we found them for all to come and enjoy😊 And this was on the Birthday of Mary in whose memory we made the water feature ❤️🦋🌈🙏😇🤩

Archbishop Sarah is a Trustee of the Quiet Garden Movement of which we’re a part . Perhaps one day we’ll be able to welcome her here and in the meantime we send our prayers and loving support for her ministry of sharing the real love of the Christ in humble service with kindness 🙏❤️🌈🪴😇

RIP Mark Tully the veteran BBC broadcaster -‘the voice of India’ - a wonderful man who spoke at the Quiet View of his understanding of universal spirituality. I had the privilege of being interviewed by him for Something Understood on the help that gardens can bring at the end of life. The light will be shining more brightly in heaven.
