Well, the first update from our weekly raffle at a Guildford pub has come in - and it's great.
The first weekly meat raffle raised a brilliant £120.
The Merry Harriers pub, at Hambledon, will be hosting the raffle every Saturday at 5.15pm until July 25.
How great is that?
Thank you so much to my god-daughter Martine for suggesting our charity to the pub. Grateful thanks to the pub staff and customers for supporting Paul's Fun Fund even though they are miles away. Loves xx

Wow! A series of fundraisers for Paul's Fun Fund are taking place all the way from Surrey.
Being Cannock based, most of our fundraisers tend to be within a few miles from here - so it's great to feature support from far away places.
The fundraiser is thanks to my God-daughter Martine who knew Paul since he was born.
Martine used to manage The Merry Harriers pub in Hambleton, Surrey. The pub hosts weekly meat raffles for charity.
Martine put Paul's Fun Fund forward as a beneficiary and it was approved.
The first raffle took place on Saturday. The last one will be on July 25th.
Here's a pic of the fundraising poster featuring Paul in his happy place (in a go kart).
I like the way the poster designer has added the pub's logo to Paul's waving hand!
Check out www.merryharriers.com
Updates and more photos to follow.
Thank you Martine and all at The Merry Harriers.

Our charity has just received £40.44. What did we have to do to earn that money?
NOTHING!
I did not have to stand on a windy field or pick up hefty boxes of stuff to sell.
The donation came from supporters who raise money for us via Easyfundraising.
For those of you who aren't sure how this works: our supporters sign up to Easyfundraising and nominate Paul's Fun Fund as their chosen charity. It's really simple to do.
Then - every time they shop online we get a small donation. It doesn't cost our supporters anything as it's the retailer who makes the donation.
Every quarter we receive a payout. All those pennies and pounds really add up.
So PLEASE, if you haven't already, sign up as one of our supporters. (We have 38 at the moment).
Just think how much more could be raised with extra supporters.
I never mind fundraising, never complain about it, but I love it when we receive money and I haven't even left the house! Please consider.

It was a privilege to be able to provide funds for a young man today to help with his general living expenses while he undergoes treatment. Our good wishes go to him. Hopefully he will also be able to go out for the day when he is well enough.
Thank you to all our supporters for making this possible.
It saddens me that this awful condition still affects young adults but I am proud that we can play a small part in making lives a bit better.
Lots of love. Jan x

I now have quite a few really nice tombola prizes for our next fundraiser thanks to kind donations.
Please keep them coming.
Thanks this week go to Fun Fund member Jennie, from Norton Canes, and Fun Fund trustee Stacy, from Hednesford, for donations of goods. Much appreciated.
Next fundraiser will be at St John's Church Summer Fair in Walsall Wood on June 27. Thank you to Richard for putting our charity forward for this event. More details nearer the date.
If I can find a spring fair in the meantime I'll be there.

Hello Paul's people.
What's new this week?
Jessica, our contact at New Cross Hospital has forwarded a further £26 raised by her husband Kevin's Manchester Marathon run - bringing the total we've received from the fundraiser to £386.
Thank you so much Jessica and Kevin.
If anyone knows of any spring fairs local to Cannock please let me know so I can book a stall to make up for last week's table top sale cancelled by the organiser.
Thanks to my sister Marie for more tombola/raffle items.
All for now. Enjoy the sunshine.

2 things: tomorrow's fundraiser at St James Church Hall, Brownhills, has been cancelled by the organiser, dammit.
Oh well, instead of spending the afternoon getting everything ready for the table top sale I can now swan off into the sunshine.
I will find another fundraiser to take the place of the cancelled one.
But GOOD NEWS: we owe a huge thank you to Kev (husband of our contact at New Cross Hospital, Jessica Power).
Kev braved the Manchester Marathon and has raised a fantastic £360 for our charity.
Thank you so much Kev. We hope it wasn't too arduous. Now rest - and rest assured the money will go to good use, paying for a much-needed treat for patients at New Cross.

Next fundraiser is a Table Top Sale on Saturday April 25 at St James Church Hall, Brownhills, 12 noon until 2pm.
Drop in and say hi if you are local. Refreshments available.
My usual plea: if you have any items suitable for my tombola table please get in touch.
Thank you for your continued support. Jan x

At our recent quarterly meeting it was revealed that since we set up Easyfundraising for our charity in 2019 it has raised £861. That is such a lot of money for so little effort. We currently have 29 supporters signed up for Easyfundraising. Imagine how much more we could raise if more people signed up.
Please consider logging on to Easyfundraising and nominate Paul's Fun Fund as your chosen charity. Every time you shop online we receive a donation so it costs you nothing.
Thank you to our top fundraisers Andrew, Karim, Meseret and Mary. x
In other news: family friend Martine has nominated our charity for a fundraisers at the end of May, thank you.
The Easter raffle held at Dr Chandra's surgery in Norton Canes raised £117 for our charity. Thank you so much to staff and patients.
The Yew Tree pub, Norton Canes, has agreed to accept one of fundraising boxes. Thank you! If you know any local (Cannock or near) pubs or clubs who would accept one of our boxes please message me.
Someone put £10 in our collection box at the Wheatsheaf pub, Great Wyrley. Thank you!
