Today, on a Sunday when most of us are spending time relaxing with our families, I was humbled by the sincerity of one brother.

He travelled over an hour simply to visit the mosque. He came asking for nothing. His sole purpose was to give us encouragement, strength and remind us to keep going.

He walked into the unfinished main prayer hall, quietly sat on a chair and began reciting on his misbaha.

As I stood above in the ladies’ gallery and looked down, I took this photo.

For a moment, I didn’t see the bare walls, the dust or the building work. I imagined this hall complete. I imagined it filled with people remembering Allah, praying, making dua and finding peace.

Allah filled my heart with hope.

Today it was one sincere brother sitting there remembering Allah. Insha’Allah, one day soon, there will be hundreds.

May Allah allow us to complete this house of His, accept every penny donated, every hour given and every sincere dua made for it. Ameen.

Thank you for sharing this!

We receive hate, death threats, bomb threats regularly and we try so hard to explain to the racists and islamaphobes that we are a peaceful community who just want to pray.

However we can’t tolerate this any more , this Mosque will be completed and we will no longer remain silent about the extremism we are facing.

Please share donate and help us build the first Mosque in Cannock.

We would like to speak directly with Josh Delaney, believed to be based in Scunthorpe or Fakenham. Any contact details for Josh will be greatly appreciated.

So Josh wants to bomb the mosque and then details when the mosque is full he would like to harm those in the Mosque.

This matter is extremely serious. Any threat to bomb a building is treated with the utmost gravity and will not be taken lightly under any circumstances.

It is deeply concerning that individuals who publicly portray others as dangerous or harmful are, in some cases, the very ones making threats of violence themselves. Such behaviour is unacceptable and will be addressed accordingly.

A threat to bomb the mosque was communicated online. The fact it has been deleted does not negate the offence; the criminal act was complete at the point the threat was made.

Humberside Police

And Josh just in case you forgot what you wrote, here is a screen shot to help you remember.

The last few days of Ramadan are slipping away…

Tonight could be one of the odd nights.
Tonight could be Laylatul Qadr a night better than a thousand months.

Imagine standing before Allah and finding that a small donation you made on this night continued rewarding you every single day after you left this world.

This Masjid will be a place where:

• The Azaan will be called five times a day
• Children will recite the Qur’an and learn their deen
• Families will gather in prayer
• Janazah prayers will be performed for our loved ones
• A community that had no mosque before will finally have a home

Every prayer made there.
Every letter of Qur’an recited by a child.
Every person who finds guidance.

Your reward continues.

This is Sadaqah Jariyah charity that keeps giving even after we return to Allah.

Do it for yourself.
Do it for your parents.
Do it for the Ummah.

Donate tonight. Don’t let Laylatul Qadr pass without planting something for your Akhirah.

Imagine the sound of children reciting the Qur’an in Cannock…

For years our children have grown up without a mosque to call their own.
No place to learn their deen, no place to pray together, no place to build a strong Muslim community.

This project is not just about a building.

It’s about our children’s future.
A place where they will learn the Qur’an, grow in faith, and find belonging in their community.

Every brick you help place will become part of their journey.

And every prayer, every ayah recited, every child who learns about Islam there… you will share in the reward.

This is Sadaqah Jariyah.

Help us build the first mosque in Cannock and give our children the home they deserve.

Please donate and share.

Last Friday of Ramadan

On what could be the final Friday of Ramadan… we ask you not to let this opportunity pass.

For years the Muslim community in Cannock has had no Masjid to call its own.
No place where the Adhan is heard, where our children learn the Qur’an, and where believers gather shoulder to shoulder in prayer.

Today, that dream is within reach.

Imagine the reward of every prayer made here.
Every child who recites the Qur’an.
Every soul guided within these walls.

The Prophet ﷺ said:
“Whoever builds a mosque for Allah, Allah will build for him a house in Paradise.” (Bukhari & Muslim)

This is Sadaqah Jariyah — a charity that will continue rewarding you long after we have left this world.

On this blessed Friday of Ramadan, help us build the first Masjid in Cannock.

Even a small donation today could be the reason Allah grants you a house in Jannah.

Please donate and be part of this legacy.

On what may be the final Friday of Ramadan, we humbly ask for your support in establishing the first Masjid in Cannock.

More than ever, we need your help.

Imagine a place where our children learn the Qur’an and their voices fill the rooms with recitation.
A place where the Adhan is heard, calling believers to prayer.
A place where a community that once had no Masjid can finally stand shoulder to shoulder in congregation.

This is not just a building.
This is the beginning of a legacy for generations to come.

Every brick laid, every prayer performed, every child who learns the Qur’an within its walls will carry reward for those who helped build it.

The Prophet ﷺ said:

“When a person dies, their deeds come to an end except for three: a continuing charity (Sadaqah Jariyah), beneficial knowledge, or a righteous child who prays for them.”
— (Muslim)

Supporting the house of Allah is Sadaqah Jariyah — a charity that continues to reward you long after we have left this world.

Tonight, your donation can help turn a dream into reality.

May Allah accept from you, multiply your rewards in these blessed days, and allow you to share in the reward of every prayer made in this Masjid.

Please donate and help build the first Masjid in Cannock.

A normal night of Taraweeh in Cannock.

Tonight we are sharing the hall with a line dancing group a lovely community who have always been kind and respectful to us. This is the reality of where we are right now.

But as Muslims we simply seek a space where we can stand before Allah in sanctity, peace and quietness, without distraction, shoulder to shoulder, hearts focused on our prayer.

Right now our brothers and sisters are praying Taraweeh in a shared hall. Yet our dream — and our responsibility is to complete Cannock’s first Islamic Centre and Mosque, a place where the Qur’an can be recited freely, where children can learn their faith, and where the community can gather in remembrance of Allah.

The last part of Ramadan is now approaching the most blessed nights of the year. These are the nights where deeds are multiplied beyond imagination.

We humbly ask you: please support this project.

Your donation today will help create a house of Allah that will stand for generations. Long after we have left this world, people will still make wudu, pray, recite Qur’an and remember Allah in this place — and every one of those deeds will continue to reach you as Sadaqah Jariyah.

Please donate during these blessed nights and help us complete this mosque so that our community can finally worship without distraction, with dignity and with peace.

May Allah reward you, accept your charity and place barakah in your wealth and families. Ameen.

SubhanAllah, we have already reached the halfway point of Ramadan. The blessed days are slipping away from us.

But the door of reward is still open. The opportunity to give, to support your brothers and sisters, and to earn ongoing reward is still here.

Do not let this Ramadan pass without taking part. Even a small contribution can carry immense barakah in this sacred month.
