Just to let everyone know — our Company Colours will be laid up at St Stephen’s Church on Saturday, 9th November (Remembrance Sunday)

It’s with great sadness that we share the news that our Boys’ Brigade company has now officially closed.

Over the years, we’ve had the privilege of welcoming so many amazing young people through our doors — each bringing their own energy, laughter, and spirit. We want to say a heartfelt thank you to every boy, parent, and carer who’s been part of our journey.

Most of all, our deepest thanks go to our dedicated volunteers — the leaders and helpers who have given their time, energy, and hearts to make every meeting, event, and camp special. Without you, none of it would have been possible. 💙

Though this chapter has come to an end, the memories, friendships, and experiences we’ve shared will always be a part of our story.

Thank you for being part of our Boys’ Brigade family. 💫

It has been great to have some of our members back this evening. Making Medieval Catapults has been successful (eventually) and the competition between our members and the officers was entertaining*

*It's best not to ask the Captain if he adapted the rules to suit his aim..

Whilst it has been lovely weather pretty much everywhere else in the UK, it hasn’t been too kind to us here at Black Rock Sands.

We have, however, been able to enjoy a brief break from the rain on the Beach and are now engaged in our crabbing attempts, after demolishing our fish and chips before the gulls could eat them

Our boys have arrived safely and are now finishing erecting their tents. It’s windy and getting dark so it’s challenging for them but most of them are giving it a good go
