Havenly Care Limited is a day care provider based in Cannock and in South Birmingham (West Heath).

We offer high-quality, person-centred support for older adults, individuals with dementia, and adults with learning disabilities. Havenly Care Adult Day Centre is an independent family-run, innovative adult day care centre and we pride ourselves on the ability to offer the elderly, people with dementia or alzheimers daycare services in a close knit, comfortable environment with a home from home fe

el. The centre was set up in response to a social need to provide ad-hoc, short or long term day care for the elderly, those with Learning Disabilities, Dementia, Parkinson's, their Carers and any other adult that feels they need extra support or social interaction. This stemmed from our own experience in the difficulties faced when caring for a loved one. We now have over 30 years’ experience in working with older people. We believe the service we offer is more social therapy than day care; innovative and proven to work, with excellent value for money.

🎉 𝗛𝗔𝗩𝗘𝗡𝗟𝗬 𝗖𝗔𝗥𝗘 𝗔𝗗𝗨𝗟𝗧 𝗗𝗔𝗬 𝗖𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗥𝗘 — 𝗢𝗙𝗙𝗜𝗖𝗜𝗔𝗟𝗟𝗬 𝗢𝗣𝗘𝗡 — 𝗞𝗜𝗡𝗚𝗦 𝗡𝗢𝗥𝗧𝗢𝗡 🎉

The ribbon has been cut. We are open.

Over 2 million people aged 75 and over go more than a day a week without speaking to anyone. Loneliness is as harmful as smoking 15 ci******es a day. Day care changes that.

We were honoured to have Laurence Turner MP for Birmingham Northfield, MP for Birmingham Northfield, officially cut the ribbon and open our centre Oddingley Hall - Northfield Community Partnership. His presence speaks to how important community day care is for the people of this area.

We are proud to have opened alongside incredible partners including Home Instead - Central Birmingham, Northfield Neighbourhood Network Scheme - Northfield Community Partnership, Birmingham City Council and the Learning Disability Forensic Team. Together we are stronger.

💛 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗮 𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝗮𝘁 𝗛𝗮𝘃𝗲𝗻𝗹y Adult Day 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗲 Centre! 💛

The garden was out, the gazebo was up, and our clients were throwing balls at a giant target board in the sunshine. Hawaiian leis on, obviously.

Then inside for a tropical dance and beach ball session that had everyone on form. Arms up, smiles out.

And when we asked our clients what Havenly means to them? Their answers said it all.
Maurice: "The food is the main ingredient."
Jim: "Havenly makes me happy."
Loz: "We have bostin wenches looking after us." (Black Country for brilliant, since you asked.)
Edna loves everything about us. Except the baked beans. Fair enough, Edna.
Good company, great staff, and a proper good day out. That's Havenly.

Today was filled with smiles, laughter and appreciation as we enjoyed a lovely day together with our clients, including a fun afternoon of bingo and activities. 🎉

We were also incredibly touched to receive chocolates and a beautiful thank you card from one of our families in appreciation of the care, kindness and patience shown by our staff over the past year.

Their message said:
“All the staff have shown kindness and patience at all times.”

Moments like these remind us how important compassionate, person-centred care truly is. Thank you to every member of our Havenly team for always going above and beyond to make a difference in the lives of the people we support every single day. 💙

This week, our members enjoyed time together indoors with fun, hands-on activities, and outdoors making the most of the sunshine in our garden. Moments like these are what our centre is all about: friendship, laughter, gentle stimulation, and feeling safe, valued, and included.

Attending a day centre can help adults stay active, build confidence, enjoy social connection, and take part in meaningful activities at their own pace. It can also give families peace of mind, knowing their loved one is spending the day in a caring and welcoming environment.
