A Heartfelt Thank You from Crooked Lake Arts Collective☺️☺️☺️
We are still smiling after last night's introductory sewing evening.🧵🪡
To say we were overwhelmed by the response would be an understatement.
We hoped a few people might come along to hear about the project. Instead, more than 120 people turned up, bringing enthusiasm, encouragement and a genuine excitement for learning a new skill.🎉🎉🎉
Thank you to every person who came through the door. Seeing so many people interested in sewing and creative community activities was both humbling and inspiring.🥰
As many of you know, our sewing space can comfortably accommodate only 16 participants at a time.
While we would love to welcome everyone immediately, we also want to ensure that each participant receives the support, attention and learning experience they deserve.🪡🧵
Once we go through all the registry forms, we will create small groups and contact people with available places. We will operate a waiting list where necessary, and we will keep everyone who signs up informed as new classes are scheduled.📆
We ask for a little patience while we work through the incredible response. What started as a simple idea has clearly struck a chord within our community, and we are excited to see where it leads.☺️🤞
