Thank you to the member of public who brought to our attention the tyre tracks of someone’s enjoyment in the village hall car park Saturday night. We have reviewed the cctv and are taking the necessary steps to deal with this!

If anyone has any cctv on Cootes lane from the hall towards the high street between 23:20-23:30 on Saturday evening. We would be grateful if you could reach out

Due to Mathew feeling under the weather unfortunately we won’t be open for the final of the World Cup final this evening

Massive thank you to all who attended our summer fete today!

Special thanks goes to the team of volunteers who helped run the bar, cafe and bouncy castle

Big shout out to the fairy dog mother partners for stepping In and running the bbq last minute for us!

And finally a big thank you to all our stall holders

As it stands the time of the dog show (registration at 12pm - showing and judging at 1pm)it should be fairly cooler than previous days! We do advise that you as owners make judgement on how your dog/s will cope with the weather and if you choose to bring them down and it gets hotter to pop them fur babies home and back in the cool of your homes

Please also note that if the weather forecast changes between now and tomorrow morning and looks to get hotter we will make the call to cancel the dog show element.

Points to remember-

Tarmac test - place hand or barefoot on tarmac for 5 seconds see how hot it is

Keep in shade

Plenty of water

Avoid excessive exercise/running around

Do not leave dogs in cars

As much as having all your fur babies join us for the fete and see them entering the competition fen Drayton village hall and fairy dog mother’s main priority is the safety of the dogs

If we feel it is to hot we will make an announcement to cancel the dog show element of the fete
