An afternoon discovery and celebration of School's Chaplaincy

All those working or volunteering in schools across the Diocese are invited to join us for an afternoon celebrating School Chaplaincy.

Featuring the culmination of our inaugural "Discovering Chaplaincy" course, this event will include insightful speakers, engaging workshop presentations, an opportunity to network with other chaplains and to discover more about our initiatives to support training opportunities for School Chaplains.

The event will start at 1pm with Lunch, presentation of certificates to the first cohort of our new ‘Discovering Chaplaincy’ course, and we will hear from guest speakers; Zoe Cutter, volunteer School Chaplain; Revd Alexandra Clarke, Chaplain at St Bede’s Inter-church School; and Victoria Goodman, Schools Project Worker for CSoC (Church Schools of Cambridge).

These four interactive workshops in 2026, delivered with the Diocese of Ely, are just for you! By discussing the inspiration behind this approach, exploring lesson plans to support implementation in the classroom and brainstorming how you might take it forward in your setting, we will all learn from each other.
