Looking forward to seeing you on Saturday for our 7th 5k Your Way, Move Against Cancer Bug Hunter Waters parkrun. Meet by the blue flag at 8:45
Not sure you can manage 5k? No problem, do as much or as little as you can (if not completing the 5k, please let an ambassador know). Can’t run 5k? That doesn’t matter, walking is exercising, and there will always be someone willing to walk with you if you’d like us to, just ask.
There will be cake this week as we have visitors from Littleport Parkrun who are supporting a friend, Kim Oakhill, who has been diagnosed with stage 4 cancer non-small cell lung cancer, having never smoked. Her wish is to be there at her 3 son’s graduations.

Come and join us next Saturday, 28th March for our monthly 5k You Way meet up.
Never been before? Don't worry, we have all been there not knowing what to expect. Well, there is nothing to worry about.
It takes place at Bug Hunter Waters parkrun in Northstowe, what3words, ///stopwatch.storage.toolkit, meeting by our blue flag by the lake at 8.50 (parkrun starts at 9.00)
Come along and meet others who have been impacted by cancer. And don't worry if you can't run, we encourge walking too, and an ambassador will always be there to walk with you should you want us too.
And of course, after these events, we always go to Northstowe Tap & Social for post coffee and cake :)

Today our ambassadors joined other parkruns to spread the 5K Your Way message due to our home parkrun having to cancel.

We hope you all enjoyed your mornings wherever you went.

Some of our ambassadors are going to Ferry Meadows on 7th February for World Cancer Day, they would love to see you there if you fancy a bit of tourism.

The next home event will be Saturday 28th February....we hope to see you there

We will now be at Brook Leys in Eddington this week as Bug Hunters Waters has been cancelled, we will have our lovely Sue walking so don’t worry about keeping up with other runners.

On Saturday this week we are proud to be once again hosting Bug Hunter Waters 5k Your Way, Move Against Cancer . If your life has been impacted by cancer please join us to walk, run or cheer everyone on! No special equipment is needed and it's free!! Looking forward to seeing you on Saturday morning!!

Due to obstruction on the course at Bug Hunter Water parkrun, they have had to cancel tomorrow’s event. We will be going and spreading the word at Brook Leys parkrun in Eddington. See you by our flag at 8.50

One more week until our next 5KYW event at bug hunter waters parkrun.

We would love nothing more than to welcome you to join our wonderful supportive ambassadors for a walk, jog or run. 5KYW is a supportive environment alongside parkrun specifically for those who are currently or have been through cancer treatment, if you have a loved one currently going through cancer treatment or if cancer has ever affected you personally.
Afterwards we meet at the tap and social for a post run treat if you would like to join us.
