The North Newtown Residents’ Association works on behalf of local residents. As a central Cambridge Conservation Area that has seen a significant number of changes since the 1950s, current civic planning still isn't addressing the key issues that impact this p

art of Cambridge and its community. These are:

- traffic volumes & pollution, narrow streets & pavements and high levels of public parking that could be improved to more safely allow contra-flow cycling and reduce the through-traffic that affects the area, and
- loss of period buildings, trees, railings, key features of our heritage and street scene

We welcome anyone that wants to share news, concerns, events or ideas, as well as being involved in building a better, connected community through our work on city & local planning issues.
