To celebrate the publication of Counting Penguins, Peter will be at Stanfords in London on Wednesday 28 October, joined by author and Antarctica expert Katherine MacInnes.

Together, they’ll talk about life at Port Lockroy, the remarkable Antarctic season behind Counting Penguins and the experiences that shaped the story.

It’s a fitting venue too. Stanfords has been helping explorers navigate the world since 1853, with Scott and Shackleton among its celebrated customers.
