JANAZA PRAYER ANNOUNCEMENT

إِنَّا لِلّهِ وَإِنَّـا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعونَ
Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji'un
We surely belong to Allah and to Him we shall return.

We are sad to announce the death of Late Sitara Begum today, Wednesday 5th August 2026, wife of the Late Haji Mohammad Raish Uddin, mother of Rugina Begum, Khalim Uddin, Rumana Begum, Rubina Begum and Amena Begum.

The Janazah will be held on

🗓️ Thursday 6th August 2026
🕧 immediately after Zuhr prayer.

The burial will take place immediately after the funeral prayer.

The Janazah prayer for Boytul Beg, beloved mother of Omar Beg, Mala, Neela and Nisha, will be held today, Thursday 9th July 2026, immediately after Maghrib prayer at 9:30pm at Cambridge Central Mosque.

The burial will take place tomorrow morning, Friday 10th July 2026, at 10:30am at Cambridge Crematorium.

Just a reminder to get out and vote today. Our voices matter, and taking part in local elections is a way to protect our communities, and support policies that benefit the local area.

As Muslims, we’re encouraged to be active, responsible members of our communities and to speak up for what is right.
