Shaping North Cambridge Junction

Upcoming public event - Shaping North Cambridge, on Wednesday 7th October 3.30-7pm, at the Meadows Community Centre.

This will be a combination of an informal drop in for people to come along and find out about local services and projects in the area, and engage and consult on things happening on their doorstep, PLUS an opportunity to come together around food and sample some of the delicious food that will be being served at the new Arbury Social cafe space!

There will also be a conversation section which will be a deep dive into a few projects, including local redevelopment, with updates and presentations.

⭐ If you're interested in joining along
⭐ If you have a presence in North Cambridge and would like to showcase and chat to people about what you do there
⭐ If you have other ideas about how you'd like to get involved
⭐ Or if you'd just like to come along as an attendee and find out
what's happening locally.

Phambili - Capability & Capacity Building Programme

The Ubele Initiative - an African diaspora-led infrastructure organisation supporting Black and racially minoritised-led (BRM) people and organisations across the UK.

Have two current opportunities, both FREE to access:

1. Phambili – our capacity and capability building programme for Black and racially minoritised-led organisations. It offers support with strategic planning, funding readiness, grant applications, and simple monitoring and evaluation systems – particularly aimed at smaller, under-resourced groups facing structural barriers to funding and growth.

2. The Step Forward Fund - a National Lottery Community Fund programme we're delivery partners on. Open to organisations led by and working with Global Majority and Racially Minoritised communities. Grants range from £100,000 to £225,000 (application criteria apply).
