Like many across the Bible publishing community, we were deeply saddened by yesterday's tragic news of the passing of Klaus Krogh.

Klaus was far more than a business colleague. He was a source of inspiration, a champion of innovation, and above all to us here at Cambridge, a dear and valued friend. It is rare to meet someone with Klaus's energy and vision: a true master of his craft whose unrivalled knowledge inspired those around him to aim higher, push boundaries, and find new ways to help people engage with the Word of God.

No challenge was ever too great for Klaus, and we are proud to have had the privilege of working alongside him on many of our most treasured editions.

A pioneer in Bible design, Klaus leaves behind an extraordinary legacy. His passion, creativity, and commitment to beautiful and accessible typography and design enabled millions around the world to engage more deeply with Scripture. We are both humbled and grateful to have worked so closely with him and to have shared in his friendship. Our heartfelt thoughts and prayers are with Klaus's family and with everyone at 2K/DENMARK as they come to terms with this immense loss.

There is no doubt that Klaus has left a lasting mark on Bible publishing. He will be deeply missed, but his influence and legacy will continue to be felt for generations to come.

Just days before his passing, Klaus shared with us some reflections on the influence of typography. It feels fitting that one of his final conversations with us centred on a subject he cared so deeply about throughout his life and career. The piece captures something essential about Klaus: his curiosity, creativity, and the thoughtful way in which he approached his craft. We wanted to provide an update on the Cameo Wide-Margin Bible. Unfortunately, because of delays with the main stock coming to our warehouse, we have had to push back its publication date.

We had originally planned to release it this year, but at present it is looking more likely that the Bible will be available early in the New Year. We know this will be disappointing news for those who have been waiting for it, and we're sorry for the delay.

Our team is working hard to get the Cameo Wide-Margin Bible ready as quickly as possible, and we'll keep you informed as when we have more definite timing to share.
In the meantime, we’d like to share some pictures of our office advance copies showing the binding styles you will expect in the New Year.

The books of the Apocrypha include histories, romances, devotional writings and stories featuring familiar biblical characters such as Daniel and Judith.

From the earliest days of Bible printing, the Apocrypha were often included alongside the canonical books – and formed part of the original **King James Version**. Cambridge has a special connection with these writings: the Cambridge company of translators was responsible for translating the Apocrypha for the King James Bible.

Although the Apocrypha was later omitted from many editions of the Bible, interest in these ancient writings has never disappeared.

Today, Cambridge continues to publish Bibles containing the Apocrypha, as well as standalone editions. The **KJV Apocrypha remains a best seller**, demonstrating the continuing curiosity in these intriguing “hidden” books.
