The ESV Crystal New Testament has been created for readers with dyslexia and other reading challenges. It also benefits anyone who wants a clearer, more comfortable reading experience.

What makes it different? The Grace typeface. Designed to help readers with dyslexia, it is combined with larger type, generous line spacing, cream-toned paper and a carefully designed page layout. Together, these features reduce visual crowding and make reading easier and more comfortable for longer.

Grace is the result of a unique collaboration between Cambridge Bibles, the Danish typesetters 2K and British publisher Sarah Grace. Created to meet the needs of readers with dyslexia, it also makes the ESV Crystal New Testament a pleasure for everyone to read.

🌐 Behind the Map: The Persian Empire

The NRSVue Diadem Bible includes the Cambridge Bible Maps, providing a visual, geographical timeline to the world of the Bible. With sharply detailed maps and a colour-coded index, it’s easy to locate ancient provinces, borders, and pathways for your biblical research and sermon preparation.

Open your Cambridge NRSVue Diadem Bible at Map 9: The Persian Empire — one of 15 maps — and trace the 3,000-mile frontier stretching from Egypt to Thracia, bordering the immense realm described in the Book of Esther.

Or follow the 1,600-mile Royal Road — the highway which carried Cyrus’s temple decree (Ezra 1) and kept Nehemiah safe on his journey to rebuild Jerusalem (Nehemiah 2). It bridges the gap between the busy royal courts of Susa and Babylon and the restoration of Jerusalem.
