YOU ASKED ... WE ANSWERED

A classic Cambridge Bible returns – and there's something more.

For more than a century, the Cambridge Cameo Bible has been one of our most popular editions. The Cameo Wide-Margin edition combines this classic setting with generous margins for note-taking, alongside pronunciation marks, cross-references, concordance and maps.

By popular request, the Cameo Wide-Margin Bible will return in October this year.

And there is something more:

For the first time, the Cameo Wide-Margin Bible will be available in an edition including the KJV Apocrypha as well as one with the standard Bible.

Cambridge and the Apocrypha go back a long way. Cambridge scholars and clergy were among the Translators of the King James Version, and the company responsible for the Apocrypha was based in Cambridge. For centuries since, Cambridge has published the Apocrypha.

Now, readers will be able to enjoy the much-loved Cameo Wide-Margin Bible in a new edition uniting two enduring elements of Cambridge's Bible publishing heritage.

Stand by for more details.

Why does a Bible feel so different from other books? It all comes down to the paper.

From ultra-thin sheets engineered for strength and opacity, to subtle choices in shade and finish, Bible paper is a masterclass in craftsmanship. It’s what allows hundreds of thousands of words to sit comfortably in your hands, without compromising readability or durability.

In our latest article, we dig into the detail of Bible paper and the choices publishers need to make.

The NRSVue Diadem is published today!

Diadem Bibles are valued for their combination of readability, portability and study resources. Like other Diadem editions, the NRSVue Diadem is set in Lexicon, an elegant and highly legible Bible typeface, and includes centre-column cross-references throughout.

Unlike most Diadem editions, the NRSVue Diadem features black-letter text throughout.

Specially created for this edition, the concordance provides a substantial new resource for study and exploration of the text. The Bible also includes the renowned Cambridge Bible maps and a family record section.

Available both with and without the Apocrypha, the NRSVue Diadem is offered in calf split and premium calfskin leather, with a choice of black, blue, green, brown and red bindings.

Which one will you choose?
