We help to provide the best possible care and treatment for people of all ages receiving mental health, community and social care in our community. Head to Toe is the official NHS charity for Cambridgeshire and Peterborough NHS Foundation Trust. Everyone wants to lead a full life, where any of the complications that come with having a health condition have as little impact as possible. Together wi

th our wonderful supporters, we help our amazing NHS staff to provide the best possible care and treatment whilst raising public understanding and awareness of mental health and long-term physical health conditions. Meet Richard, one of our incredible volunteers from Cambridgeshire and Peterborough NHS Foundation Trust Voluntary Services – helping bring a beautiful new garden to life for patients at Trafford Ward, North Cambs Hospital in Wisbech. And we’re all grateful for a slightly cooler day as the team works hard outdoors!

This very special project is one of the final legacies of the Friends of North Cambs Hospital, whose generosity has supported Trafford Ward and many other Fenland Cambridgeshire and Peterborough NHS Foundation Trust services over the years. We are hugely thankful for their lasting contribution, which will make a real difference to patients’ wellbeing for years to come.

Over the past few months, this garden has taken shape thanks to the dedication of ward staff, their friends and families, and our amazing volunteers. And this is just the beginning – there’s still more to do!

Join Head to Toe’s flagship bike ride and help support patients, carers and staff.

Starting and finishing at the Resource Centre, Fulbourn Hospital, this fully supported group ride offers two route options:

• 50km – ideal for beginners or those looking for a steady challenge
• 100km – perfect for experienced cyclists ready to push themselves

Both routes take in the beautiful south Cambridgeshire countryside, offering a rewarding and scenic day out on the bike.

You'll be supported every pedal of the way.

We’re proud to be working in partnership with Red Fox Cycling to deliver a professionally-led ride, including:
• Expert cycle leaders
• A support vehicle along the route
• Planned lunch stops
• A celebratory finish to mark your achievement

We’re cycling 300 miles for children’s mental health 💙

From the Darwin Centre in Fulbourn to Disneyland Paris — CPFT staff and our service users are taking on a big challenge to support young people in our care.

Recovery isn’t just about treatment. It’s about creativity, confidence and positive moments too.

Your donation could:
🎨 Fund art materials
🏞️ Support therapeutic activities
🌟 Create special days out and positive memories

Anna joined the Cambridgeshire and Peterborough NHS Foundation Trust Menopause Support Group and found kindness, understanding, and the strength to remain well and at work. After 4½ years post-treatment, she’s rediscovering joy and her story shows just how powerful staff networks can be!

Darwin to Disney – 300 miles for young people’s mental health ✨🚴‍♀️

As it’s Children’s Mental Health Week, there couldn’t be a better time to launch our Darwin to Disney challenge!

We’re cycling all the way from Fulbourn to Disneyland Paris to raise vital funds for our Children’s Mental Health Ward 💙

On 11–12 May, the Darwin team (alongside our amazing young people) will take on 300 miles to support brighter opportunities, activities and equipment for those who need it most.
