Three months on we are reminiscing on the closing of the 17th Watersprite Film Festival, along with the rest of our 30+ events over the festival weekend centred alrund demystifying the screen industries.
This including our free Creative Futures Day, in partnership with Screen Alliance East, for 16-18 year olds in the South East. Workshops were delivered by local industry facilitators such as Cambridge Film and Screen, RTS East, Vine FX and Dragonlight Films.
The closing ceremony itself was an incredibly insightful panel on the adaptation process of 100 Nights of Hero - featuring the writer of the graphic novel Isabel Greenberg, director Julia Jackman and producers Helen Simmons + Stephanie Aspin.
This closing also provided the 60+ student volunteers, who were running and organising the entire festival over the last year, a chance to celebrate the great success of the weekend! ⭐️🎉📽️
