We're excited to be hosting a Macmillan Coffee Morning on 1st October, 10am-2pm, at Meadows Community Centre.

🌟 Today, our team took a break from the day-to-day to spend some valuable time together.

We celebrated everything we've been working on, shared ideas for the future, and reflected on how we can continue working alongside our communities and neighbourhoods to make a positive difference.

It's not often that we're all in the same room, so it was a great opportunity to connect, collaborate, and enjoy some time together over good food and plenty of laughter 😊

Here's to teamwork, fresh ideas, and the exciting plans ahead! 💙

🌱 Jo and Sue spent a fantastic morning volunteering with Grow Cambridge CIC, helping to harvest delicious fresh vegetables, water ones still in the ground, and take down bean poles at one of their volunteer sessions 🌱

The amazing produce grown on site supports food resilience projects across the city, working with Cambridge Sustainable Food and Abbey People Abbey in Cambridge to help ensure local communities have access to fresh, healthy food 🥕🥬💚

A huge thank you to everyone involved for the warm welcome and for the incredible work you do to support Cambridge residents.

🎨🤸 Could a little more play make our neighbourhoods feel more connected?
Cambridge Playlaws Phase 2, a community arts project is inviting residents to be part of reimagining how we use and experience local public spaces.

After a super playful weekend at Coldhams Common the Playbox will be back at Thorpe Way this weekend with free activities, games and creative sessions designed to spark conversations, and encourage spontaneous play for all ages 😁

📍 Thorpe Way Recreation Ground • Saturday 19 September, 11am to 3pm • Sunday 20 September, 11am to 3pm

Ideas shared at these events will help create six new Playlaws inspired by the stories, memories and aspirations of local communities. All are welcome!
