At the Cotswolds Dogs & Cats Home we have been providing care and support to vulnerable animals in our community for over 80 years. We find wonderful families for pets who need a new home and provide access to veterinary treatment for pets living with financially vulnerable families through our sub

sidised veterinary clinics, ensuring no animal suffers because of cost. We are entirely dependent on the generous support of the public and local community in order to achieve are aim of improved animal welfare throughout the Cotswolds. A Huge Thank You from Big Mike! 🐾
We want to say a massive thank you to everyone who donated to support Mike's journey.

He is recovering well from surgery, and his eyes already feel so much better. Once he has finished his medication and received the all-clear from the vet, he will be ready to start looking for his forever family.

It is thanks to your generosity and continued support that we can keep saying yes to cases like Mike's, giving every animal the pain-free, happy life they deserve.

Sadly this afternoon, we have had a deceased ginger and white short hair female cat with no microchip brought into the centre after being found on the A38 next to the George Pub in Cambridge.
The cat has substantial injuries and is believed to have been hit by a car.

Meet Pepsi - A Little Patience Goes a Long Way ❤️

Beautiful Pepsi has been with us for around 6 weeks, and when she first arrived, she was very shut down. We knew she needed time, space and, most importantly, patience.

Over the last week, we’ve started to see something really special… Pepsi is finally showing us her affectionate side!

She’s now enjoying gentle head rubs from staff and beginning to show us the sweet girl hiding underneath all those initial nerves.

Pepsi is estimated to be around 8 years old and is looking for a quiet, understanding home where she can continue to build her confidence at her own pace.

Pepsi may not be the cat who immediately runs over to greet you, but watching her slowly learn to trust is incredibly rewarding. Every little head rub and moment of affection feels like a huge achievement. ❤️

Sometimes the most special friendships take a little longer to build.
