Went sherry tasting / pairing yesterday evening at KPMG’s winter drinks, where tales of tax, trends, and sherry manufacturing techniques flowed. Thanks to Senior Partner Joe Faulkner - seen here opening the session, manzanilla in hand - for hosting us and providing such delicious pairing dishes.

Good times at Majestic Wine in Cambridge today where we are celebrating and enjoying some tastings; make sure you visit today - 6 hours left! As Sherry Week 2025 draws to a close and if you missed our sessions, don’t forget our good friends at Majestic Wine in Newmarket Road are doing tastings of dry sherry and nibbles till 7pm tonight and through the weekend! They are very friendly and knowledgeable so pop down!

What a fantastic evening of sherry pairing and tasting last night as part of Sherry Week 2025! We had:

- Manzanilla with olives and vinegary fish
- Palo Cortado with asparagus (obviously)
- Amontillado with cheddar, chorizo and nuts
- A sweet oloroso with blue cheese, which went down a treat
- Some PX at the end.
