Our Cubs and Scouts have had a great time at big splash today! We went Canoeing, Rafting and Sailing. All the activities were amazing and we want to say a massive thank you to the Cambridgeshire Scouts’ Water Activities Team for organising this.

Our Scouts are just back from an amazing week of camp on the Isle of Wight. We went on so many adventure including the needles, blackgang chine, the zoo, rafting and paddle boarding.

The Scouts also showed off their camping skills, cooking their own food, scoring highly in tent inspections and delivering the tastiest speciality meals we’ve had in a long time.

A special well done also needs to be given to the 4 Scouts who were awarded their gold awards on camp!

🚐 Exciting news from 11th/9th Cambridge Scouts! 🚐

We're delighted to announce that we have reached our fundraising goals and purchased a new (second-hand) 15-seat minibus for the Group.

This is a major investment in the future of Scouting in Newnham and will help our young people access even more adventures, camps, activities and events across the region and beyond.

This achievement would not have been possible without the incredible support of our volunteers, families, local community and everyone who has contributed to our fundraising efforts over the years. Thank you to everyone who has helped make this happen!

The minibus is now available for bookings to scout groups and other organisations. More information and booking details can be found at: www.newnhamscouts.org.uk/minibus

We're looking forward to seeing it in action and creating many more memories and adventures for our members.
