A local mum, living in Cottenham, is looking for a nanny who can look after her 16 month son and support her family ideally long term. Please spread the word and get in touch if you are interested in this post. Details below (from the mum):

A warm, good natured and God fearing family who is searching for a lovely person to help out the mother of the household with our two youngest children one being 3 and the other being 1, preferably we would prefer a female and someone that lives out. It’s extremely important to us that the person who looks after them understand their needs and how we as a foundation are raising our children. We are looking for someone long term, member of the household to act with leadership, drive, attention to detail, high energy and most importantly loving and kind who has had past experienced with children. Three days a a week would be the perfect fit helping out with the children’s learning, doing activities with them, taking them out to the park. We would need someone to take and also pick up the 3 year old from the childminder (who only goes 3 days a week). Certain needs and requirements can be discussed in person, the hour requirement and rate can/will be discussed when we find the right candidate who we deem fitting for our children and their needs.

Dear Victor, you have Ukraine in your heart and soul. You have given a warm welcome and support to so many Ukrainians who settled in Cambridgeshire, and you continue to be one of the main drivers of our local projects. Your support for Ukrainians and their country is invaluable and heartwarming!

We feel privileged to know you and be able to work with you, Victor! Wishing you a fantastic day from all of us at Cambridge Families For Ukraine!! 🎈🎊πŸ₯³

🌟 Our art project, in collaboration with Cambridge Art Salon , has received a warm welcome from St Philip's CoE Primary School in Cambridge. We extend our heartfelt thanks to all the children for their incredible work and engagement. 🎨✨

Three classes came together for this project, which aims to create a magnificent Ukrainian flag using children's self-portraits on yellow and blue paper. πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡¦ These portraits symbolize the voices of the brave little ones residing in Ukraine, those who have sought refuge elsewhere, and those forcibly separated from their families and deported to Russia. It's a powerful representation of solidarity. πŸ’™πŸ’›

During our interaction with the children at St Philip's, we had meaningful discussions about the experiences of moving countries amidst times of war. One touching moment was when a little girl proudly raised her hand and said, "I am Ukrainian." The classroom itself was a vibrant community of many different nationalities, making this project truly multinational and inspiring for everyone involved. 🌍

We were astounded by the enthusiasm, understanding, and commitment shown by our children throughout the project. Their empathy and compassion are truly uplifting. As a gesture of love and support, we are sending their warm hugs back to the children of Ukraine. πŸ‡¬πŸ‡§πŸ’ŒπŸ‡ΊπŸ‡¦

Thank you, St Philip's CoE Primary School, for being a part of this incredible initiative. Together, we are making a difference and spreading hope. πŸ™β€οΈ

For now we plan some Ukrainian-inspired crafts, music lessons and singing classes, as well as more serious career advice to our Ukrainian residents πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡¦.

We believe that there are no limits to our ideas and that we can build a co-space for everyone.
