We were at the Cambridge Science Park today talking about all things sustainable travel! 🚲🌱

It was great to attend alongside Voi Technology, FLIT, Outspoken Cycles, Enterprise Car Club and the Cambridgeshire & Peterborough Combined Authority as well as everyone who joined the conversation. We loved hearing about your experiences of cycling to work and your fantastic ideas for making it even better. Good to see members, cyclists and people who are thinking about giving it a go!

It's our birthday today! 🎉

It's been a fantastic 31 years since Camcycle first started out, and we have so much to celebrate.

A big thank you to our passionate community of members, supporters and partners for everything you've helped achieve for cycling in and around Cambridge since 1995.

Take a trip down memory lane and explore some of our highlights from the last 30 years at camcycle.org.uk/30years.

What's your favourite Camcycle memory?

Thanks to the Mill Road Traders Association for inviting us to this event yesterday: good to find areas of alignment and hear Mayor Paul Bristow commit to financial support from the Cambridgeshire & Peterborough Combined Authority once a plan for the street has been developed with broad support from the community.

Co-design workshops are coming up soon from Cambridge City Council and Cambridgeshire County Council. Find all the dates on the county's website: https://www.cambridgeshire.gov.uk/residents/travel-roads-and-parking/transport-projects/mill-road-community-co-design

✅ We all want a better Mill Road.
✅ We all want support for our local, independent businesses to thrive.
✅ We all want faster action on improvements.

Applications close on Monday 15 June for the chance to be Camcycle's Active Travel Design Lead.

It's a rewarding role as our charity's technical expert, working with local people and authorities to design and scrutinise walking and cycling schemes and ensure the best outcomes for people who cycle, and those who would like to cycle.

We're looking for someone who can work 3-5 days per week, based mainly from our north Cambridge office with some hybrid/home-working available.
