It was great to see so many of you for our formal at Jesus on Wednesday night! Huge NorthernSoc do 🕺

Thank you to everyone who came, to James (VP) for organising, the Jesus students who sorted tickets, and for kindly donating the menus (even if the college did change them last minute) ❤️

Applications for the next committee are OPEN! 🥳 send manifestos to [email protected] by 7pm on Tuesday!

Next Wednesday (11th March) we are holding our Annual General Meeting, in which we discuss the successes of the society over the past year, how things can be improved going forward, and vote on changes to the constitution if needed.

After this, members applying for roles on the new committee will share their hustings speeches (can just read your manifesto!), and we open voting to the wider society.

Everyone is welcome at the meeting, not just those running for election… and of course there will be a trip to Jesus Bar afterwards 🫡

Let us know if you have any questions; I can promise it’s a very rewarding committee to be part of, especially with the outreach efforts we have put in place for the upcoming months.

Tomorrow’s big quiz with regional and national socs in SidBar will be used to collect donations for the Cambridge City Foodbank. Please bring something along! 🫶 a list of items they particularly need at the moment is included on the second slide…

Aside from the opportunity to do a good deed (😎) there will be fabulous prizes on offer, plus the bar will be open and serving from 18:30 for a 19:00 quiz start.
