Bridges for Enterprise (BfE) - Cambridge Chapter is a global non-profit catalyzing social change in the developing world by propelling early-stage ventures to scale their impact. In late 2015, Bridges for Enterprise was founded by students studying in the University of Cambridge on the belief that is it is possible to bridge the gap between career success and making a positive difference. At the h
eart of what we do, we see a world full of possibilities where entrepreneurs, students and professionals can become agents of social change, regardless of their career aspirations. BfE started off as a small group of students that pull together consulting and finance advisory engagements for social enterprise startups based in developing countries. During BfEβs first round of operation in 2016, we engaged with 8 startups β the number subsequently grew to a total of 25 startups in 2017. Meanwhile, the BfE Network was officially launched in 2017 and has been expanding the presence of BfE across global locations by setting up International Chapters in cities across Europe, America and Asia. These chapters will continue to grow and serve as hubs where purpose-driven individuals connect and create impact in their respective communities. Bridges for Enterprise is an incorporated nonprofit.
