Once again thank you so much to SustainableTech4Good for providing two laptops for our young people 🙏

This will make a huge difference to the young people we have in mind 🧠

One is off to uni this September and the other had an old laptop that recently contracted a virus making job applications and online training very challenging! 🤯

If your company has surplus tech and can put it to good use whilst, in the process, making an environmental and social impact do get in touch with them directly 📩

Thanks so much to Sing! Community Choir for a fantastic evening last Saturday night 🎶

Not only was it thoroughly uplifting (especially the elements of audience participation) but the evening raised over £1500 for Concrete Rose Collective CIC 👏

Thanks so much to all who came along and your fantastic generosity 🙏

All these funds will go directly to supporting young people 'at risk' of homelessness in 💔

Room to spare? Why not host a young person? 🤷

Here is the feedback from one host couple who opened their home up to support one young person 'at risk' of homelessness: “The relationship seems to be going very well, and we feel we're getting as much benefit out of having him here as perhaps he's getting out of being here” 💬

This Saturday it's the Sing! Community Choir summer concert "Walking on sunshine" 😎

When young people move in and out of accommodation and/or go on to university we need to temporarily store their items including small furniture (e.g. bedside tables, clothes and sentimental items) 📦

Ideally we're looking for something that is dry and secure in the Cambridge, St Ives, Huntingdon area and, at least, the size of one small transit van 🚐

This time last week we were celebrating with young people and volunteers at our Summer Garden Party at Magdalene College 🥳

This is always a great occasion to celebrate the achievements and key moments in the lives of our phenomenal young people including:

🟣 3 young people progressing from supported lodgings to university
🟣 7 student mentees graduating from the University of Cambridge
🟣 6 young people who have moving into independent homes

It is also an opportunity to acknowledge the consistent, tenacious and dedicated committment of our hosts, mentors and volunteers 🙌

Finally thanks you to much to Rev. Sarah Atkins for hosting the event and your ongoing support for our work 👊

Great to be delivering training to a room full of those passionate about supporting young people and keen to put trauma-informed practice into action 👊

It's hugely encouraging to hear about so much innovative practice happening across the county and throughout the statutory, faith and community sectors 🙌
