The Toy Library - Cambourne Welcome to The Toy Library, Cambourne
We aim to provide a borrowing service for a variety of children's toys aimed at 0-5 years with additional SEN equipment.

Starting 12th June 2025 and running on the 2nd and 4th Thursdays of the month.

There's a thunderstorm making its way to Cambourne!

If you have a little one staying up - maybe not too sure about the thunder and lightning, it might help to use the lightning tracker and show them just how predictable thunder can be!

We currently have in our Sensory Bag for young children to try, with ear defenders and fidget toys. There is also our fish lamp and a sensory black out tent! All FREE to borrow 😊

Stay & Play – Tuesdays 9.30am to 10.30am

Join other families in the library for chat, play and interaction. We will provide baby and toddler toys for you to play with while in the library. Suitable for 4 years and under.
This is a drop-in activity, no need to book.

Don't forget to take advantage of Cambridge museums, who regularly do stuff for children during and outside of school holidays.

The museum of technology is often overlooked as it is a little more difficult to find, but with lots of games to play it can be a great day out!

Another tip for the Fitzwilliam Museum - ask to see their "Family Trolley"! They have sensory and story sacks you can set out in exhibit rooms and use to help engage little ones in the exhibit while you also get to see what's on offer.
