We will be at Awenek Day at Enys Gardens on Saturday 12th September, come and visit us in the yellow tent. Unfortunately the Puffing Devil won’t be there as the trailer is unable to manoeuvre the narrow entrance to the gardens.

We have 2 talks in September:

Monday 7th September Zoom only for members
Tim Smith An Irish Immigrant to USA who was sent to South Wales by his employers in 1828 to learn the secrets of the industry.

Friday 11th September 7.30pm at King Edward Mine Tony Langford and friends ‘Walking with John Harris: Landscape of a Poet’ Exploring the Landscape of John Harris, his childhood inspiration of Treslothan Moors and Woods. Members free, Non members £5.

We had a great day today at Camborne Show. It was very hot and there was a good crowd. Thank you to the volunteers that came and helped during the day. A big thank you to Ken once again for transporting the trailer. 😊 In inWe really could do with some help, especially at the end of the day, to dismantle. It was very difficult for the 4 of us! 😔

HUGO GLASIER Hugo’s underground photography over time and his work with South Crofty to document some of their progress. It also takes a look into the origins of underground photography in the 1890s with JC Burrow's work in Cornwall.
