💜 300 MILES. 10 RUNS. ONE INCREDIBLE ANDY. 💜 Andrew Shorten

HE’S DONE IT!!!

Back in March, Andy set himself one enormous challenge.. to take on around 300 miles of the Cornish Coast Path for Forever Faith Foundation.

Today… HE FINISHED. 🥹💜

10 gruelling runs. Around 300 miles.

Miles and miles of relentless Cornish coast path. Endless hills and steps. Early mornings. Long days. Blazing sunshine, pouring rain and even winds of around 55mph! There have been sore legs, battered feet, broken shoes, ferry crossings, creek wading and probably several moments when any normal person would have questioned their life choices! 😂

But Andy kept going.

And just look at the photographs. Cornwall at its breathtaking best, but anyone who has walked that coast path knows those beautiful views don’t show just how brutal some of those climbs and descents really are.

What makes us emotional is why he did it.

Every mile was for Forever Faith Foundation and the families we support following a childhood congenital heart disease diagnosis. 💜

The incredible amount Andy has raised will stay right here supporting families when they need it most helping towards travel and parking costs for hospital appointments and admissions, journeys out of Cornwall for specialist treatment, accommodation, bereavement support, memory making, keepsakes and our support boxes and hampers.

It means being able to say “yes, we can help” to another family when their whole world has suddenly changed.

That’s what those 300 miles mean.

There is something incredibly emotional about watching somebody put this much time, determination and heart into doing something in her name, through people like him, Faith’s little legacy just keeps going. 💜

And today wasn’t just about reaching the finish line. Seeing everyone there to support him and share those final moments says so much about the person Andy is and how many people have been behind him throughout this challenge.

Andy, thank you doesn’t seem big enough.

Thank you for every mile.
Every hill.
Every ridiculous set of steps.
Every soaking.
Every blister.
Every early alarm.
Every time you were absolutely shattered but carried on anyway.

Thank you for choosing Forever Faith Foundation.

Thank you for carrying Faith’s name with you around our beautiful Cornish coastline.

And thank you to every single person who donated, shared, joined Andy for a section, supported him, transported him, met him along the way or stood waiting at the finish. You have all been part of something incredibly special.

🕯️💜 REMEMBERING OUR WHY ‘WAVE OF LIGHT’💜🕯️

Tonight, on the 3rd anniversary of losing our beautiful Faith, we remember the little girl who is the reason behind everything we do at the Forever Faith Foundation.

Faith is our WHY. 💜

Her strength. Her courage. Her beautiful smile. That famous little wave. The love she brought into our lives and the incredible legacy she left behind.

Forever Faith Foundation was born from the greatest love and the greatest loss. Every family we support, every box we send, every memory we help create and every hand we hold is done with Faith at the very heart of it.

Tonight at 20:05, we invite our FFF family, supporters, friends and everyone whose heart has been touched by Faith’s story to light a candle with us. 🕯️

Let’s create a Wave of Light for Faith little flames shining brightly in homes near and far, reminding us that although her life was far too short, her light continues to reach so many.

Tonight we remember our beautiful heart warrior.
Tonight we remember our reason why.

With Faith comes Hope. 💜

❤️ World Heart Day ❤️

This day feels different for us. It feels heavy.

Because behind the beautiful photos, the brave smiles and the little hearts we celebrate today are children who have endured more in their short lives than many adults ever will.

Our heart babies are incredible. ❤️
They are strong, brave, beautiful little warriors who face surgeries, procedures, hospital stays, medications, endless appointments and battles no child should ever have to know.

And for some families, World Heart Day carries an even heavier meaning.

So today I’m thinking of **every heart **child still fighting.
Every heart warrior growing up carrying their scars.
Every parent sitting beside a hospital bed willing their child to keep fighting.
And every family, like ours, who would give absolutely anything to hold their heart warrior one more time.

CHD doesn’t end when you leave the hospital. And for some of us, it becomes part of our story forever.

Today and always, I’m so incredibly proud of these beautiful children and their extraordinary hearts.

With Faith comes Hope. 💜

Today, on International Bereaved Mother’s Day 2026, we honour the strength and love of bereaved mums everywhere.
Held in Faith, surrounded by Hope, and wrapped in Unity.. we stand with you always 💜
