Closure Notice
For the last few years we have had the privilege of working with a team of volunteers who have become like family, in a community who we have come to know and love.
Sadly our time based at Trevithick Market is now over and Hygge and Hope will not be opening again in the new year.
We are so sorry this is so disappointing ,this decision has not been made lightly.
As a community interest company the cafe has been solely run by a team of volunteers and things such as family and lack of funding ( to name but two reasons ) needed to be taken into consideration for continuing.
We feel we need a pause at this time as we look to putting pen to paper to write a new chapter. So even though it feels sad right now there is also a sense of excitement of what's to come.We are confident that Hygge and Hope will return in the future,it just might look a little different to what you have seen before.

Thank you SO much to all of you who have walked through our doors and shared your lives with us, it has been a privilege to serve you.
Your support of us has been absolutely incredible and we are so thankful to now call this community our friends.
And of course last but not least a massive 'Thank You' to our volunteer team ,Dan ,Tracy, Kaylee and Chris who have stood by us through thick and thin.
Have a wonderful 2025 and we do look forward to seeing you again soon.
