Callie came to the rescue with a badly healed fractured pelvis and broken tail just under 2 years ago. She had no trust in humans, so once we amputated her tail, we spent time letting her learn that we're not all bad. She adored other cats, so we used that to our advantage and had got her to allow us to stroke her. She would not allow us to pick her up and when she had had enough of being touched, she would toddle off.
On Easter Sunday, she came down for her breakfast as normal then went back upstairs. We have no idea what happened, but she was found upstairs with blood over her face (found it was from her nose) We managed to get her in a carrier and rushed her to the emergency vets, but by the time we arrived she was extremely stressed and struggling 😔 we felt it was unfair to put her through further stress of being handled and made the heart breaking decision to let her go.
This has left us with the bill from the emergency vets of £502.05! We desperately need to raise some funds to cover this. Our PayPal address has changed and is now [email protected]
