Over the years the club has grown in size however we have never been numbers driven, with focus on having the right group of folk who are interested in getting the scoots out and racking up some miles, either through rallies or club organised trips. We are not precious about about Classic vs Automatic scoots and are always happy for anyone to tag on for our Monday runs and are welcoming to to thos
e that fancy becoming part of the club (we do operate a bit of a "hanging around" period just to see if if the club works for you....we do have some rules, not many but a few). We also aim to support local charities where possible through our annul dance and any side events and we move between charities based on club agreement - currently supporting Diamonds in the Community. Currently, we meet at THE POST, in Calderbank, Airdrie aiming for every Monday night and go for a run if the weather is decent. (Message us if interested in tagging along)
SUMMER HOURS - April-August - 7PM Monday Run, we leave sharp to get a few miles in if the weather isn't too bad. If weather if proper crap we will meet around 7:30 for a blether. WINTER HOURS - October- March - 7:30PM onwards - Pub meet to discuss any club stuff and catch-up...unless the weather is decent then we will do a small run. We also have a bit of a sister group for those in club with bikes who still want to promote the Unwanted brand - Unwanted B-Team, so if you have a bike too there are some options....but it's all about 2 wheels , the miles and the banter!!! If interested, have a look at our page and maybe check out our YouTube channel and then give us a shout, or pop along and introduce yourself, we are an approachable bunch (honest guv).
