Morning!!

Just wanted to say to all those people that have recently liked my posts, welcome to The Teen Whisperer.

At the heart ♥️ of everything I do, I am a mum so I get where you’re coming from. I get the exhaustion, the heartache and the wondering wtf is going on?!

I am here to work with you to figure out what’s behind the behaviour so you go from constant confusion, second guessing, exhaustion and wondering if something else is at play, to understanding what’s actually happening, so you can support with clarity and confidence.

Last week I got off a call with a client and something shifted.

Not in a small way. In an *oh my goodness, this changes everything* kind of way.

We were talking about her daughter. The phone. The scroll. The silence. The conversations that go nowhere.

And I realised something I honestly couldn't believe had taken me this long to see.

Tech isn't just a topic I touch on. It's been the thread running through every single conversation I've ever had with a mum.

The anxiety. The withdrawal. The closed door.

It's underneath all of it.

And I, as someone who has spent their entire career working with nervous systems, play and sensory tools, had been dancing around it 🤦🏻‍♀️ rather than walking straight through the middle of it.

Not any more.

Ever wish there was a space where teen girls could just slow down, switch off, and be themselves?

Our Wild Girls Taster Session (May) is exactly that.

An afternoon in the woods. A crackling campfire. Time to chat, create, explore or simply sit quietly and breathe. No pressure, no judgement, no expectations.

Just a welcoming space to connect with nature, build confidence, and spend time with others who get it.

Designed for girls aged 11–16, this gentle woodland session is all about wellbeing, friendship, and finding a little calm in a busy world.

We’ll head into the woodland together, gather around the fire, enjoy creative activities, light bushcraft, and of course, a few treats along the way.

**This is a taster session, with hopes to grow into something regular.**

Spaces are limited, so please book in advance.

Calling parents of teen girls aged 11–16 in Cumbria.

If you’re watching your daughter navigate big emotions, confidence dips, body changes, overwhelm, or shutting down… you’re not alone.

I’ve created a new programme called Whole Body Reset to be held at The Health Barn, Askham, Nr Penrith.

It’s designed to support girls in understanding their mind, body, emotions and cycles in a way that actually lands, not through information overload, but through experience and nervous system regulation.

This is body-first learning.
She doesn’t just learn about her nervous system, she experiences it settling in real time. And because it’s felt, it sticks.

She’s also not doing it alone.
She’s alongside other girls going through the same things, all talking, laughing, learning together, and realising they’re not the only ones.

So they can feel calmer, clearer, and more at home in themselves.

That’s the key 🔑
That’s the transformation, they know what they need in the moment.

It’s not rocket 🚀 science and yes it works.

I’d really value your input as I finalise the format. I’m currently looking at starting in June on a Saturday afternoon.

Parenting is as much about you as it is about your child/teen/young adult.

If we don’t make time for ourselves, how the heck do we focus on their stuff?

Simple answer… we can’t.

Remember put your own oxygen mask on first.

Do something that makes you feel ALIVE each and every day. Have fun, play and enjoy yourself. That is THE biggest de-stressor.
