A wonderful evening at 901 Troop’s Christmas party 🎄✨

A huge thank you to our cadets for your commitment, positive attitudes and for making nights like this such a pleasure. We are incredibly proud of the young people you are 👏🎖️

We were also delighted to welcome our special guests, our local councillor, Cllr Matthew Taylor - Stalham, Sutton and Catfield and his lovely partner Zillah, whose presence really did bring gravitas to the occasion. Their support of the troop has been amazing and we’re so grateful to them 🤝⭐ We look forward to working with them more in the new year.

Welcome to the 901 Troop War Rooms… 🙃🔴

A few unexpected lighting issues on Friday turned our briefing room red — but it definitely added to the atmosphere for our ambush training before heading out onto the dunes!

The cadets smashed it, showing excellent discipline, teamwork, and tactical awareness. 👏🫡

We’ll be back on the dunes again this Friday, and we’ve got a special guest joining us…

Over the past few days, members of 901 Troop have been deeply honoured to take part in remembrance commemorations across our local area.

On Remembrance Sunday, our cadets and staff proudly paraded in Great Yarmouth, paying tribute to all who have served and sacrificed for our freedom. During the morning’s events, the Troop also took time to pay their respects at the FEPOW memorial, honouring those who endured such unimaginable hardship as Far East Prisoners of War.

Our Commanding Officer, Colour Sergeant Marsh, had the honour of serving as Parade Marshal, representing the Troop with the utmost professionalism and pride.

We were also proud to have one of our cadets attend the Stalham Parade, and today, Armistice Day, Lieutenant Dodson and Colour Sergeant Marsh joined the memorial service in Winterton, led by our Padre, the Reverend Deborah Walton.

Meanwhile, WO2 Scarborough and Cadet Corporal Clarke, Mayor’s Cadet for Great Yarmouth, represented the Troop at the memorial service held at St George’s Park, standing alongside civic leaders and members of the community in a moment of collective reflection.

Each of these occasions serves as a powerful reminder of the courage, sacrifice, and unity of those who came before us — and of the responsibility we all share to ensure their legacy is never forgotten.

We are immensely proud of all our cadets and staff for the respect, discipline, and pride they have shown throughout these important commemorations.

We will remember them. 🌺

Today 901 Troop was honoured to take part in the Remembrance commemorations in Great Yarmouth, standing alongside our community to honour those who served and sacrificed.
It is always a privilege to be part of such an important occasion.
A well-done to all our cadets for their turnout and respect throughout the day.

A busy weekend for 901.
Saturday saw 901 at the Minster in Great Yarmouth where they took part in a of Remembrance with Great Yarmouth brass.
The Mayors cadet, Cpl Charlie Clarke, gave a reading as did the Unit Padre, Rev Debs Walton.
The cadets carried out a Drumhead Ceremony which was a first for our group of new cadets.
Proud is not the word.

This evening cadets from 901 Troop were pleased to be of service at the Town Hall in Great Yarmouth providing a Guard of Honour to those attending the Election of Honorary freemen of the Borough.

Congratulations to all those who were nominated for this prestigious award!
