A good breakfast at today’s hub. Many thanks to Anthony Kenneson-Adams, RAFA Case Worker, for taking the time to talk to us about the wide range of support available to serving RAF personnel and veterans. It was a very informative talk and was really well received by everyone.

It was also great to see Charles popping in for a visit, and especially good to welcome Kelvin P back into the family fold!

Enjoy the rest of your weekend, everyone. We’ll see you again on Tuesday for darts, pool, bowling, cards and, of course, a good old social get-together over a brew. ☕🎯🎱🎳

Just a reminder that Dr Anthony Kenneson-Adams, RAFA Case Worker, will be visiting the Hub this Saturday, 22 August 2026, to give a short talk about RAFA and the RAFA Benevolent Fund.

This is a great opportunity to find out more about the support RAFA provides, who they can help, and how they can support RAF veterans and their families.

✈️ All RAF serving and veterans members are welcome to attend. We look forward to seeing you on Saturday!

Another fantastic afternoon at the CVSH Hub, filled with darts, pool, plenty of friendly faces and, as always, great company! 🎯🎱

🏆 Pauline was our Crib Champion, and we also had a brilliant doubles darts tournament with Army v Navy!

With a darts champion on their side, the Army took the win this round… but there’s plenty more to come, so watch this space! 🎯😄

A huge thank you to all the new faces who joined us, everyone who came along, and all those who helped make the afternoon possible. Your support, involvement and good humour are what make days like these so enjoyable.

We’re already looking forward to the next one! ❤️

Good to see everyone at the Hub today, with 43 veterans and families in attendance.

A big thank you to Geoff from Citizens Advice, Teresa from Caerphilly Council, and Jo, who were on hand offering advice, welfare and wellbeing support.

Many thanks also to everyone who responded so generously to the Pantside emergency, donating clothing and making contributions to support those affected. A special thank you to Calvin for delivering everything to Newbridge Boxing Club. Your kindness and community spirit are very much appreciated. ❤️

With the devastating news about the houses on Pantside, we would be extremely grateful if any Hub members who wish to donate funds, clothing, or other essential items could bring them into the Hub on Saturday. All donations will be distributed to the families affected.

Any support, no matter how big or small, would be greatly appreciated at this incredibly difficult time. ❤️
